43: 33

And were it not that all people had been a single nation, We would certainly have assigned to those who disbelieve in the Beneficent God, of silver the roofs of their houses and their stairs by which they ascend.

43: 34

And the doors of their houses and the couches on which they recline,

43: 35

And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but the meanest things of the present life: The Hereafter, in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous.

What is loveliest and dear most in the eyes of the people is the meanest before the God who created them; the reason why He had created such meanest is, to make us know our downtrodden means and meanest ways of life. Looking from the angle of utility and its properties gold is a dead metal; nothing it has to the benefit of man; even dust has the life saving property, that it contains in it the bacteria and viruses that benefit man's immune power that save him from all diseases. The gold reminds us nothing but the 'stained yellow tinge of the toilet'; or the tartar i.e. the ugly, stinky, yellow plaques of the teeth. When you keep close to the mind such nasty and filthy things close to your heart, your life quality has been staked into that stinking pothole. And now God says if only it is that you would not become a wholesome community that would degrade itself to such meanest low , He would have made your houses of gold and silver - the facade of your houses, its stairways, its floor, its toilets and all. Yet all these are of no use to your lives and are absolute filth; but what is with God is the most beneficent and are adornments to your lives and soul. Be devoted to liveliness and that is righteousness. God loves those who are Rightful thinkers.
